Discreet is a very important subject as it prepares one for the beginning of many classes; thus for all the modern topics ie. I have only skimmed or partially read the book thus this is not an end all review; but more a statement that the book did arrive on time and in reasonable shape. Am not sure what class I would recommend this for as it seems to be a oldie but goodie that is not totally in tune with the way the subject is taught today as many of the items in book are whole classes themselves eg.
