Hi Meg. I use chicken broth or stock but you can use beef. I also opted for using plain water recioe than using vegetable or chicken stock. Next time I will add some cooked chicken pieces!Once again, the ever faithful kitchen appliance proves that it can master gourmet meals right before our very eyes - all it takes is the correct prep time and ingredients.
