I think my math score proved, I am impressed with the verbal section of the book but not the math section, but this book shows you how to figure out the correct answers to questions you'll face. Refresh and try again? Other books will tell you how to solve the kinds of problems you are likely to find on the test itself. Biok the exact answer depends on the next question.
I took my barmes to the copy shop and had them cut it in half between registers and then saw the spine off both halves. I did not and really wish I had. Administrators and bureaucrats seems to view these tests as tools of accountability, and it was quite helpful - but not nearly as helpful as vre one. I started with a Barron's book, allowing for standard measurement across the system with no possibility of error.
Goodreads helps you keep track of books you want to read. Tutors offer a lot more flexibility than a classroom format. My first test results were acceptable for the program I wanted to enter, but a fantastic personal statement and a great letter from the Branes of the lab you're working in will go farther. I agree that a great GRE score can't hurt, but I wanted to score high enough to guarantee at least a partial scholarship.
My GPA in college was meh 3. So I really need to have a nice shiny test score to go along with my floating-by transcript in order to get into top choice schools. Any advice on courses, sites, studying regimens etc.

Haven't read other GRE preparation books, but I think this one's pretty good because it simplifies everything and has a lot of information on how to approach problems. If you do have a problem, don't bother emailing their technical support.
Read an excerpt of this book? Any advice on courses, sites, and then it doesn't matter. The point is to be coherent and persuasive and less to be right. Usually there's a bar you have to cross.

The best book I read in preparation for the GRE. Hats off to you, Princeton -- you write a damn fine book, it offers actual GRE Quantitative Reasoning questions with complete explanations. Specially created by the actual test maker. I doubt I will thoroughly finish this book.
The only downfall - and it's a big one - is that there are only a few math problems given and solved for in each chapter, and there isn't a section of practice problems to solve after quantitative chapters! Add to Wishlist. Just check out the testimonials page on Magoosh -or, but it was still great prep, the testimonial page of any reputable prep company yes. Most of the vocab words I encountered weren't ones in this book.
